The month of November can be characterized by one word - Gratitude. Expressions of this sentiment are varied and often conjure images of families and friends gathering around a table overflowing with food and reflecting on the gifts received throughout the year. Wouldn’t it be beautiful if thankfulness was taken a step further so that the gifts are literally shared, a form of actionable gratitude.
The most obvious way of sharing is to make a monetary donation to a favorite charity, but actionable gratitude supposes that we contribute something often more valuable than money - our time. While financial contributions are both necessary and appreciated by charities, not everyone has money to spare, and volunteers are equally as important to charitable organizations. The time spent may range from a few hours to weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly standard commitments. Options include hands on, in person assistance, making a difference from the comfort of your home, or channeling talents to benefit others.
At the KEY Team, we value the impact of giving back to the community, and we invite you to join us! Whether donating money, time or some other resource, we are making a difference. So choose a charitable organization near and dear to your heart, or consider making an impact by contributing to one of our favorite organizations listed below. Simply sharing gratitude to benefit others.
