About Dakia Knight

Dakia Knight, a Richmond native, has provided excellent service within her hometown for over ten years. Soon after graduating from the University of Richmond in 2013 with her B.S. in Business Administration, she began her journey to become a realtor with an administrative position. Gaining experience and understanding in customer service, as well as the very essence of home-owning and the fast-paced real estate market, helped to shape Dakia into a determined powerhouse for this profession. The same year she joined ICON Realty Group, Dakia co-founded KEY Team at ICON Realty Group. This team was created to showcase three fundamental principles in the quick and fast-changing real estate market: Honesty, Integrity, and Communication. In addition, the KEY Team prides itself on providing an easy and exemplary home buying experience for it's clients.

 

Creating a seamless and stress-free experience is Dakia's specialty. Her focus, knowledge, and exceptional customer service allows her to exceed expectations while assisting clients in their home sale or search.  Dakia continually strives to build positive relationships while creating beautiful, life-changing experiences for new home buyers. Her passionate, persistent, and meticulous attention to detail leave a lasting impression as buyers and sellers finalize successful transactions.

 

Dakia is proud that her hometown is a thriving hub with an incredible food scene, quick and accessible beach activity, and breathtaking scenery. After a long day at the office, she enjoys nothing more than spending quality time with her daughter and black Labrador Retriever, but finds time to enjoy reading, listening to music, and attending art festivals in the Richmond area as well.

 

Dakia serves on the Richmond Association of Realtors’ Board of Directors and was elected as its Vice President in 2024. She is a member of the Richmond City Planning Commission and other various real estate committees at the local and state level. She is the Managing Broker of ICON Realty Group and the KEY Team.
